Switched On Portsmouth is run by Portsmouth City Council to provide Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant residents with a number of ways to save energy, money and carbon. Residents can receive:

Through working with a number of organisations we are able to provide a number of initiatives to help residents save money on their energy bills and improve energy efficiency in the city.

Switched On Portsmouth acts on Portsmouth City Council’s Energy and Water at Home Strategy, the aim of which is:
To ensure all homes in Portsmouth use energy and water as efficiently as possible for an appropriate level of comfort, safety,
health and dignity; and that every Portsmouth household can afford their energy and water bills.

The Team




Anttonia joined the Energy Services team in 2018 after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Geography. Her role involves managing the scheme contracts and engaging with staff and residents across the city. She helps the most vulnerable get access to expert advice and initiatives.





Louise joined the team as a Graduate Energy Officer in August 2019. She helps deliver our energy schemes and delivers training on these to organisations in Portsmouth. Before this role, she worked at the National Energy Foundation working on energy projects and helping those in fuel poverty. She has a Bachelors in Architecture and Master of Arts (Hons) in Environmental Sustainability and Geography.





Kyle is a Marketing Officer with a degree in Marketing and has been part of the Energy Services team since May 2019. His role involves the management of the Switched On website, social media channels, communications and public relations. He also manages the wider marketing strategy for different initiatives and events.





Andrew has worked in Portsmouth City Council since 2011 and has managed the Energy Services team since 2017. He has been successful in attracting funding to help combat fuel poverty in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. Andrew’s team is one of the most advanced Energy Services teams in the South of England having won multiple Energy Efficiency awards.
