Join us at Portsmouth Central Library for Fuel Poverty Awareness Day
Date: Wednesday, 26th November 2025
Time: 10am to 2pm
Location: Portsmouth Central Library
Fuel Poverty Awareness Day is an important reminder of the challenges many households face. Across the UK, six million households are living in fuel poverty, and the ongoing energy crisis, now in its third year, has stretched budgets to breaking point. For many, this means choosing between falling into debt or living in cold, unsafe homes that can harm physical and mental health.
We want to help change that.
The Switched On Portsmouth team will be at Portsmouth Central Library throughout the day to talk with residents about their energy bills and offer advice and support. Whether you are struggling with high costs or just want to learn more about reducing your energy use, we are here to help.
What’s happening on the day?
